Ever been to Boston MA? It’s a great town. For first time visitors, I often recommend Boston tours as a way to see all the great sites around. You can certainly “do” the city without a tour. The other big advantage to Boston tours is that you will not waste time on things that are not worth doing. I remember one trip where I spent an hour driving around trying to find this one site. When we go there, we said – how stupid was that? We could have seen 3 other things with all the time we wasted. On an organized tour they know exactly where to take you and how to do it.
A final point about Boston. It is a big city. This means parking will be REALLY REALLY bad. Don’t expect to find a great spot right next to a major attraction. Again, consider Boston tours as a way to avoid one of the top 5 worst traffic situations in the country.
